Gym Bunny - well not yet, but working on it!!...
So first of all, weigh in day (has been and gone) but I am here to report in. I gained 100g, darling Ali looked at me and knew I was gutted. A update, I had had a super duper busy weekend with a friend coming down to stay to surprise Ali. So I would not say my nutrition was overly bad. I still tracked every morsel that went in my gob. I gained 100g and I know in my mind it is nothing, but to me it is still putting my marbels in the wrong direction! I had still exercised as well, but I was super tired, getting about 6hrs a night, yes we did the girly thing and talked too much, but it was so much fun, would not change a thing for the world!!
I had three ww leaders at my dinner table, a ww colleague and also their hubbys and partners for dinner on Saturday night, BURGER WIS-KIRSTEN was open for business. I made home made jacket chips, Oatalicious hamburger buns (5pp) each, and then inside we had chicken, chicken bacon, lettuce, tomato, cooked zuchini, beetroot, pineapple, mushroom, red onion, relish and sauces. Yes I could hardly get it in my mouth, but they sure went down a treat. I said to Chad, what a nutter, my leader is coming for dinner, he said, yeah you are, you actually have 3 coming for dinner!!! But hey it went down fine. I did put little labels around with points allocation so if anyone wanted to, they could accurately point their dinner, also had my scales out. Not sure it helped but I knew I was not cheating me, and that would hopefully make a difference to my result. Well I sure got off the subject then!!!
It did make a difference to my result, as if I had not of tracked it would of been more than a 100g gain, I can assure you of that!!
So this week I have learnt that being tired makes a huge difference, and this week I will hopefully see it pay off. I did eat 23 of my weeklies, but hey, it is only one week. It will not beat me, I am going to beat it!!
Gym Bunny.... well I get a bit of a fail this week!! I went yesterday to the gym in 28 degrees and did half hour on cross-trainer and 10m on the treadmill on my own, I sucked up my ego and went. I so nearly chickened out. But I did it. I was dripping in sweat after it, but I felt pretty pleased with myself. I then got a migraine, sure hate nor-westers. Ended up in bed with a good migraine last night.
So this morning I had a migraine hangover, but thought go on, don't make a excuse, get on with it. I had the girls booked into the playgroup. So off I went, I knew my friend was taking the class so my stomach was turning already. Got thru the class ok, well I was buggered to the best degree, did more than the last step class I did! Whoop whoop. Karyn and I sure had a few laughs today!!! Every time I get it, IT changes, man alive, that frustrates me, so I get the giggles.
Came home and yes I had a date with Mr Toilet Bowl.... not sure 100% why but Chad came home and I slept it off for a hour. Lucky me I have the support I do. So the causes I think,
1. Migraine Hangover,
2. Worked Hard,
3. Pushed myself too hard,
4. I really have no idea, but would love to know if anyone does have any theories.
I have been trying to drink lots and been drinking some electrolyte drinks to help.
So focus now, is get thru the next couple of days without the migraine, I will have to not push so hard. I also had a talking to from hubby of why? If only I knew. So no exercise tomorrow and then on Sunday I plan to do step, but if my migraine is not completely gone, I will walk and do something a bit more gentle.
Hope you all have a fantastic weekend my friends!!!
And just had to share, I talked at a meeting last night and I got some lovely comments and compliments, so thank you ladies, I take strength that I can do this, from your wonderful compliments!!! Roll on living my dream!!!!!!!!! My thoughts use to be if I get to goal, and now I often think WHEN I GET TO GOAL.....
I am just so thankful I have so much support

Weigh In Day
TODAY 72.5, awesome!!! (Total loss 24.1kg)
So I sucked it up and went to the gym for a second visit on Sunday and did a step class, was a little lost in places, nearly went over the top of it once!! But hey, I am just learning.
Today I weighed in and lost 800g, yeah, only 100g to go and I have lost 25% of me!!!! Next week!
So now I sit at 72.5kg, so stoked to kick the arse of the 73's as man they hung around a long time. I was in them from early November last year. So 10 weeks in the 73 bracket, went up a bit (xmas), down a bit, up a bit, you know the story, I SO GET IT!!!
So by finally going to the gym, sucking up my ego, I have finally booted the 73's out of my way!! So next week, aiming to get my 25% loss of my body weight and then I am onto 71.6kg, which means I have lost 25kg.
I am going to live this dream, and no one is going to stand in my way!!! NO EXCUSES!!!!
Love that now I have actually realised I am my own worst enemy, I have moved on a tad, this is such a learning bumpy road to success. When you next get on the scales, remember we are on our journey and also know what you are going thru, WE get it, as Sarah says!!!
Have a fab week, I may blog during it, if I need to or have some inspiration, remember you are the only one standing in your own way of success!!!
Love to all, Happy Valentines Day!!!
PS Lost 8 marbles, whoop whoop bloody whoop, I am stoked!!!

GYM BUNNY IN THE MAKING!!!!
Well not quite, but hey I sucked up my super sized ego and went to the gym tonight and did a class. And no one laughed about me, well not to my face and that is all I cared about, I was so worried I was going to make a dick of myself. I did bodybalance, which was great entry level, mainly stretching, twisting and (looking at the hot guy beside you- so you know what to do of course). The ten minutes relaxation at the end was a bit witchy poo for me, I was too busy thinking about all the things I could be doing at home!
I did have a look in the mirror tonight, you just can't resist when it is so in your face and I did not look as big as I feel. Does that make sense? I hope the more I look the smaller I will get!
So my focus this week was to join the gym, I have done that and also attended a class. Remember I have promised to do 3 lots of exercise a week, if I exceed it great, if not, well and good, 3 is fine, (much better than none like I would normally do, because I am allergic to exercise (wink, wink)). Last night I biked for 45mins while watching the biggest looser, tonight class, walking with Ness on Sat and Class at Gym on Sunday, off to do STEP, wooohoooo! I actually feel a bit invigorated at the moment. I do have a bit of a tight calf muscle from tonight, maybe overstretched a bit, but it will not kill me.
My eating has been fairly good at present, seem to be under control and not looking past what I am having for more food. Back to 26 a day and coping fine. Will see how the week continues.
Ladies and Gents..... presenting.... Me a non Gym Virgin!! Remember No Excuses and if I can do it, make the time and get on with it, so can you.
Have a fab Friday.....

So Today was WEIGH IN DAY!!!
I fronted up like I always do and I had stayed the same.
I have had a couple of funny weeks, where life has been a bit hectic and like everyone I get tired, which quite often my choices and self control are not as good as could be.. So I had made a couple of crap choices that once I looked in my tracker last Thursday I told myself to pull my head in. I was trying to eat 27pp each day and found by end of Thursday I had eaten all my dailys and also 41 of my weeklies and this is only day 3 in of my new week. The week before I had used 28 of my weeklies as well, which I don't normally use.
So I pulled my head in, exceeded my exercise goal of 3 days and did 4, did a filling and healthy day and stuck to my points and managed to stay the same. I am really pleased with that as I thought the week before few days of mayhem and then the first few days of this week might of bitten me in the bum today.
So no marble loosing this week, but also no putting them back, so I am super happy with that. Not long ago I would not of been, but I also am so much more realistic than I was.....
So this week, I am going to join a gym to do mainly aerobics classes (don't fall off your seat, I can't believe I am typing this either!!). On Thursday I am going to do it, I am going to pay my weekly amount and do classes each week. I have to sock this weight in the guts and get rid of it. I am apprehensive about joining the gym and a best friend (male) is the head aerobics instructor so I have always blocked it out as a option as I feel self concious, but hey I can do this! I am going to talk to him and let him know how I feel and I am sure he will understand and help me thru this, that is what best friends are for. He is super supportive of my weight loss and very proud of me, so I have to suck it up and do it. The times of classes work for me, they have a free child area for the girls, so no excuses on a friday to make it work. Sat and Sun Chad is around and Thursday girls at pre-school or night Chad will be home. I can make this work, I so want to get to goal, I HAVE TO MAKE THIS WORK !!! Remember No Excuses.
Today I have talked to my ever supportive buddy about changing my food around also, so I will give this a go and try and eat 26pp per day.
Have a fantastic week my friends, remember to surround yourself with positive support people and if you see me on facebook, or around, ask me how the gym is going and make me accountable to do it, as I so need to do it and I am going to do it!!!
And for those of you who saw my fat pants today, I sure hope you are not scared for long!!!

Feb 2012
Ok so at the beginning of each month I will post a picture of my marbles so you can all share my progress. For each 100g I take one out. Last week I lost none, but did not have to put any back on, man it hurts to put them back in. I am not 100% sure of when I started doing it, I would have to count them, it was once I was over half way and I could start to see the finish line. The wee crystal vase on the right is what I put them into. Will have to find a bigger one soon!!
I have this picture on my phone as well so that I see it every time I am on my phone and of course it is on the windowsill in the kitchen so it reminds me all the time to stay on track, focus and believe!!!

2012, I am going to live my dream
It has been a long long time since I posted, but I find if I update you all regularly I seem to do really well when I make myself accountable to you, so in advance thank you for your support and for reading my blog.
Well 2012 is going to be the year I am going to get to do it and live my dream. I am going to get to goal in 2012.
My current stats, I am 73.3kg, 13.3kg off the top of my range (so far lost 23.3kg) . I have been exercising (on and off) and trying my very best with nutrition to make it happen. I am now looking at what I can change around and brush up on to make this dream a reality.
Chad is the most supporting and loving husband ever, he makes it happen for me. He said to me tonight, you go jump on the bike, I will put the girls to bed and then we will have tea. If it was not for him being supportive it would be so hard! How lucky am I?
The last few months have evolved and as part of a working team who are all of like minded people I have surrounded myself with more friends who are batting for me to win this! I am so going to do it. I am also enjoying being there for the them, not only in weight loss but also friendships. Wow I am so lucky that my fatness has brought all these loving people into my life! I have the best mentor and friend possible who would walk over coals to make me get to my goal. To know she believes in me 200% even when sometimes I don't, means more to me than she will ever ever know! SHE GETS IT, she has walked the talk, so how lucky am I? I have a couple (actually a few) text and walk buddies who are also there when I want to scream, shout or cry, even if it is not weight related but do you know what, the best thing is they are there for me, and I sure hope they know I am there for them.
So looking forward.... I plan to do the following....
TRACK, TRACK AND TRACK AND TRACK SOME MORE, it has to happen every day! Even if I don't like what I see, I track.
and
1. Update you all weekly on my progress, how I am going (thru the good, the bad and the shit!) If I don't remind me and hound me till I do.
2. Get in here and babble when I need to.
3. Plan my meals, to make life so much easier, especially when the unexpected can happen.
4. Weigh I food when i am at home and can. I have the ww scales and I would never be without them. If we go on holiday and I know I am cooking, they go with me. If I only put 70% in I am only going to get 70% out - I so believe this.
5. Drink at least 2x 750ml pump water bottles a day
6. Exercise at least 3 times a week, at this stage that is achieveable.
7. Aim to loose 200g a week. I have been struggling to do that lately, I don't think it is directly any fault of my own apart from not getting off my arse and exercising, and now that I have less to loose, I am going to have to suck it up and get on with it. I have brought a concession card to Aquacise and tonight got on the exercise bike for 40mins and guess what... it did not kill me but man I have a sore bum!
8. Believe I can do this and have a healthy outlook on my weight loss, my journey and that I am going to get there. My Crohn's disease is so much better when I am eating normal food but on the ww scale of propoints and not having the shit we would of had if I was not.
I am in a really fortunate position working as I do for ww, and I love that I can share my journey with you all. Don't be afraid to ask me how I went for the week or any questions about my journey. I am more than happy to disclose.
Recently I did my measurements to compare from when I first started (96.6kg) and I have lost 67.5cm's off my body. Wow how bloody awesome is that! (20.5cm off my tummy and 4.5cm off my chicken wing upper arms!). Do it now if you have not, it is so worth the satisfaction you get! Happy to share my clown pants with anyone who has not seen them!
So the one other thing I am doing for me this year is loosing my marbles. Yes you read it right. I have a glass vase on my windowsill that each blue marble represents a 100g, so every time I loose 100g, I take one out. It is one of two visual aids I use. Every time I go into the kitchen I see the vase and it just gives me a wee reminder that I am worthy of this journey. I also got given two wooden words for xmas from a very special secret santa, "Believe" and "Inspire" they are on a pelmet in our bedroom, so they are the last thing I see at night and the first thing I see in the morning. How can I fail, when I am setting myself up to succeed. I believe I can do it and I so hope my dream of inspiring somebody will come true, hopefully a lot of people!
I have dribbled on enough tonight, hope you enjoy reading this and my progress, journey down my yellow brick road, loosing my marbles.
